It makes a lot of sense to take your bike with you on the train. If there is another overhead line damage, you can easily bypass the blocked route. And let's be honest - cycling in the (drizzle) rain when darkness falls is a special experience. Especially when you can save 55 cents on tickets.

From Eberswalde, @tr, @Kathrin, and I cycle along the Finow Canal to Finowfurt. From there, we head into the Biesenthaler Becken. We cross the Finow via the Pöhlitzbrücke and reach the Wehrmühle. An event is taking place there today – it’s wonderful that this historic site is being brought to life with culture.
