This hike really took time. Much more often than usual I stopped to let my gaze wander into the distance. It is amazing that every direction gives a distant view.

At the start we went from Schwarzfeld to the actual ascent. The way from Herzberg to Gr.Knollen over the Jägerfleck is really nice. Relatively few deadwood spots.
