Smętek Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

This pedestrian and bicycle bridge is the northernmost crossing over the Łyna River within the City Forest, up to the bridge at the "Łyna" power plant in Redykajny. Several tourist routes intersect near the bridge, including the Copernicus Trail leading all the way to Frombork.

The name of the bridge comes from the devil from Kashubian traditions, who, thanks to M. Wańkowicz, is also associated with the region of Warmia and Mazury.

Route from Kojrys horse house is pretty sloppy and definitely graveled, asphalt starts just from the bridge towards Branswald. Lost my turn-left close to water utilization station, it's forest gravy road for about 700m, then haevybricks and asphalt to Redykajny bus station. All in all very nice trip, rather for 30c+ wheels than for road ones.

Mosąg Lake Dam Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

The bridge over the Łyna near Brąswałd was built in the 1930s and offers probably the best view of the Mosąg Lake. The structure of the bridge also includes a dam, the purpose of which was to maintain the water level suitable for the operation of the nearby power plant in Brąswałd.
