The Heinz Sielmann Foundation has once again established wildlife on the former military training area "Döberitz" just outside Berlin and Potsdam.
The area is 3,600 ha in size, of which 3,400 ha are nature reserves. Here live about 980 protected species and up to now 55 km of trails have been created.

You can enter and explore the area from different points and if you are lucky you will also see bison and horses etc.
The paths are good to walk, but not barrier-free and with the bike I would not recommend some, as here the Markish sand prevails.
