In front of the extensive mountain massif are Hornberg (gliding school), Rechbergle and Galgenberg. At the Furtlepass (630 m) the Kaltes Feld is connected to the Alb plateau. The Reiterleskapelle at the western foot is one of the most atmospheric images of the Alb.
