The bike ride started from the camper parking space on the Naab. We made another "supply stop" in the city of Schwandorf. It is a city in the Upper Palatinate with around 29,000 inhabitants; with a very nice city center. For the first time, Schwandorf was around 1,000 AD. mentioned.

Our first family bike tour in 2024 took us to the lakes in the Upper Palatinate around Schwandorf. We particularly liked the Water-Fish Nature Adventure Park by the ponds at Murner See. At Steinberger See we briefly went for a swim in the water, but it was still very cold.
