A very nice bike path, which unfortunately gets a bit narrow when there are lots of people. Mutual consideration is key here.

A bike tour via Warendorf to the idyllic Einen with a stop at the local country café and back. In parts, always on the scenic Ems cycle path away from busy roads 🌞🌻🚴

Today we continued on to Warendorf. In Marienfeld we were impressed by the monastery and were captivated by its sacred splendor. Warendorf was still in the splendor of the Assumption of Mary festival week.

The last stage from Warendorf back to Reda. We personally didn't like the last part that much, even if the moated castle in Reda is great. All in all a great circular route. A little tip: In Warendorf we stayed at Fam.Groll, Carl-Leopold Str.28. €63 with breakfast. Frau Groll was very nice and the double room was great.

This morning is rainy again, and we don't set off until 10:25 a.m. It's only drizzling.
After Harsewinkel, the tour becomes more exciting due to the lack of signage :-).
However, we've arrived on a zigzag course, even though the drizzle had refreshed us beforehand.

On this section, you encounter the Ems 💦 💙 rather by chance, but it offers great highlights with the combine harvester town Harsewinkel 🧑‍🌾, the visit to the Marienfeld monastery ⛪ & my favorite double town Rheda-Wiedenbrück 👌!
And in your thoughts 💭 you can already review the …

In Warendorf, you first cycle along the Ems, then through fields and meadows.
Harsewinkel's best corner is Marienfeld Monastery - absolutely worth seeing.
Wiedenbrück has a lot of half-timbered houses in the old town, which is outdone by Rietberg. Rietberg in general!: Wonderful to cycle along the Ems, very charming old town and a well-developed and maintained garden show park.
