A Relaxing Ride with the Guys – A Golden Autumn in November

It was almost unbelievable: no rain! Instead of gray skies, the sun actually peeked out – and in November, no less! Temperatures were perfectly comfortable, almost like a golden October. Perfect weather, then, for a spontaneous, relaxed ride with the guys, although we all sorely missed one of …

Despite the weather!

The motto was to get out and get on the MTB. I was largely aware of what to expect in the forest and on the trails. What was really going on was revealed after the tour. First the bike 🧽 then myself🙈

But it was still a lot of fun.

It's great when you realize after 10 minutes that your water bottle is still on the cart 🤦‍♂️. So switch to camel mode and don't think about the 🚰🚱...

An easy, sunny tour through the Voreifel region in temperatures that can be done without a jacket 😎😄🖐

Wehebachtalsperre, Backofen & Pättchen Adventure...

Let's head to the Wehebachtalsperre, where beautiful views and the best MTB atmosphere await us. From there, some wonderful trails lead through the forest towards Backofen – varied, fun, and just the thing to get the flow going.

A beautiful tour towards the Wehebach Dam to the Gottfriedskreuz via selective trails to Schevenhütte, with further trails towards Wenau. We gently ended the tour on the Kanonentrichter Trail via Schönthal near Kammerbusch and various small trails in the Jüngersdorf Forest.

All in all, a pleasant, not particularly technically demanding tour with pleasant sunshine but a cool wind.
