Mörikefels Viewpoint

Highlight • Viewpoint

The rock was named after the poet Eduard Mörike. The poet worked for almost two years in Ochsenwang as a pastor. Just one square meter of rock was one of his favorite places.
From here you have a great view of Hepsisau and Neidlingen. The three Kaiser mountains and the Aichelberg are also u.a. to see.

Breitenstein Viewpoint

Highlight • Viewpoint

The Breitenstein is a white Jura rock outcrop on the Albtrauf. It is a natural monument and protected geotope. In addition to the great view, the climb through the Eichhalde is also a beautiful experience.

Teck Castle

Highlight • Castle

The summit castle Teck is located at 773 meters on the Albtrauf in the Swabian Alb. The Swabian Alb Association runs a restaurant and hostel here. A great place for a break on the mountain bike tour, even if the approach is very steep. You can find information about the castle and the offer up there: burg-teck-alb.de/burg-teck.

A truly beautiful tour. Surefootedness is required in some sections, however. Some sections are not easy to navigate when wet. Komoot often stops during breaks. In total, we were on the trail for roughly 6 hours.

Hike to Teck Castle started in Bissingen u.T. Done when I started walking at Lake Bissinger I couldn't believe my eyes👀 someone really went swimming there🥶 short story She said the water was warm🤗 nothing for us I would have become a princess in no time 🤣 Continue into the Zipfelbachtal then up to the Breitenstein at the top Even …

Bissinger See is the ideal starting point for this round. There is a stop for several bus lines right by the lake. 100 meters away there is a hiking car park right next to 2 restaurants (Seestüble and Pizzeria da Altobelli). Both Breitenstein and the Teck are practically Bissingen's local mountains. And finally, you can cool off in the lake …

Once again on the edge of the Alb. We started at the hiking car park outside of Hepsisau. Alternatively, there is also a small car park in town. We then went back down the mountain to the entrance to the Zipfelbach Gorge. The ground here was quite slippery and greasy. It went up along the edge of the creek in …

A very spectacular hike with several "hairy" hiking trails. One highlight follows the next. The Albtrauf is a really fantastic place to hike.
The altitude difference with many very steep places put a lot of strain on our knees.
But the tour is definitely recommended.
If the entire tour is too strenuous for you, you can skip the detour to …
