Lake Zireiner in the Rofan Mountains is considered one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol - of course, it couldn't be missed on my hiking trip to the Alpbach Valley!

Getting there isn't all that easy, though: for the shortest hiking tour* via Anderl's Almhütte from the Aschau-Wimm car park in Brandenberg, you still have to cover around …
