The route of the European long-distance hiking trail E9 in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is largely in the immediate vicinity of the coast. Starting point today was the remarkable Hanseatic city of Stralsund. Before things really get going, there is a sensationally good coffee in the "Kaffee Monopol" on Mühlenstrasse.
