After four intensive days in the Greater Caucasus with the ascent of the Kazbek ( komoot.de/tour/923233615 ), unfortunately it went down again today. From the Betlemihütte at 3,653m, usually called Meteo, the path led us over the Gergeti Glacier, past the Altihütte (3,014m) over a beautiful ridge to the Gergeti Church above Stepantsminda. A fantastic conclusion to this fascinating mountain …
