July 29, 2022,🇨🇭 Engelhornhütte - Gletscherschlucht Rosenlaui

Beautiful tour, but some alpine experience (sure-footedness and a head for heights) is required. Unfortunately, we didn't have great weather from about half of the tour. Thus we were denied the view of the glacier. If you follow the tour, you should walk the other way around and go through the glacier gorge. Very impressive.

I parked my car in Gschwantenmad. There are more free parking spaces and less crowds than at the Hotel Rosenlaui. The hiking trail to the Hotel Rosenlaui leads flat along the Rychenbach. Opposite the Hotel Rosenlaui is the entrance to the Rosenlauischlucht. The path with deep views of waterfalls, whirlpools and the gorge is always an impressive experience. 😍
