June 21, 2022,Laufbachwasserfälle-Dreizielstein-NSG Galgenberg
Start was at the parking lot of the Gernsbacher Runde am Laufbachtal.
We passed the Laufbach waterfalls and through Loffenau to the Dreizielstein, which we used for a cold drink.
This was followed by a beautiful trail that brought us back.

Showing Translation

The trail over Galgenberg to the Prinzenhütte follows narrow paths, partly along a ridge in the forest, amidst beautiful scenery! The return descent is a leisurely one on wide forest paths between meadows with magnificent views! The last few kilometers follow the Laufbach stream, which provides refreshing cooling on hot days!

At the end of the weekend we took advantage of the weather again. It was pretty warm for mid-November.

The climb to Galgenberg was great, great path, but also challenging at times. Then we went towards Loffenau to the Laufbach Falls. Also a very nice place and a great path down to the Laufbachtal. From there we ended our tour …

Showing Translation

The path first goes along a stream, past a waterfall and the ruins of an oil mill. Then a piece on a gravel and tarmac path, which does not bother you with the beautiful view and the orchards. Some beautiful paths too.
