Mordmühle Büchen

Here stood the MURDER MILL, which was fed by a dam. In 1627 the imperial marauders attacked and brutally murdered the miller's daughter and the miller's servants. The miller was tied to the milling tree and had to watch the massacre. Then the mill was set on fire. Since then, this area and the ruined building have been called MORDMÜHLE.
