Gypsy Glen and Cross Borders Drove Road Trail Junction

Highlight • Trail

This is the point where the blue-rated Gypsy Glen MTB trail (a 14 mile/23km circular route from Glentress) splits briefly from the Cross Borders Drove Road bridleway for just over a kilometer.

Stay right for the CBDR, a blue rated trail, or left for the Gypsy Glen singletrack section, rated one step harder at red.

The route is known locally as Gypsy's Glen. It derives its name from its historical significance as a favoured camping ground for travellers during the 19th century.
