The first few meters of the path are covered with stone slabs, then it continues downhill on loose, sometimes slippery ground. No places to stop for refreshments.

So I wouldn't call it an easy tour. It was very tiring. Non-slip shoes are recommended.

The last hike of our vacation takes us into the Bandama crater near Santa Brigida, which is approximately 170 meters deep and 1 km wide in diameter.
This crater was formed during one of the last volcanic eruptions approximately 2,000 years ago. Seen from above, it's an impressive sight! The different rock formations and layers are also interesting.

A very beautiful circular hike through the Caldera Bandama volcanic crater. I recommend sturdy footwear, preferably trekking or hiking boots. The path is a bit rocky here and there, but otherwise it's easy to walk.

Showing Translation

It is NOT suitable for beginners and people afraid of heights. Good conditions are a prerequisite, the path is very steep in parts.

Showing Translation

Unfortunately, Komot did not record the return trip.

Showing Translation

Nice tour into the volcano. Sturdy shoes are mandatory as the surface is very loose and there is a lot of slipping. Otherwise, bring plenty of water with you to avoid dehydration in the heat.

Showing Translation

A nice trip. Impressively unspectacular in the volcano. Take bus 311 from San Telmo 1.40 euros. The bus ride up here alone was an experience.
