The church building in half-timbered style in Sobieszewo (Bohnsack),
was forcibly expropriated in 1947 in favor of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland.
In 1985 it burned down and was subsequently rebuilt in the same location in a modern architectural style.
A figure of the "Weeping Mother of God" is venerated in the church,
which was brought here in 1961 from Dębowiec.
In the cemetery, old German gravestones
of Protestant church elders can still be found today.
