Ruins of Lesięcin Palace

Highlight • Historical Site

The village belonged to the Borck family from the 14th century until 1945. In the village there is a ruin of the Borcki palace surrounded by a wild park. The palace was built in 1853 on the initiative of Peter Louis Ernst von Borcke. In 1881 it was extended by Richard Ernest v. Borcke. It is a two-story building, built on a rectangular plan and covered with a mansard roof with dormers. The façade is diversified by two avant-corps, of which the rear one (from the garden side) has a three-sided outline, and the front one (on the front façade) is decorated with the coat of arms of the Borcki family. On the gable wall of the palace there is a poorly readable board with information about the construction and reconstruction of the palace. The interiors of the palace were arranged in a two-bay form with enfilade passages. The palace had a representative hall and a salon.
The facility is fenced and currently unavailable to visitors.
