St Mary's is a Grade I-listed church in the heart of Welshpool. The pretty church was built in the mid 13th century but was largely remodelled in the 19th century. There is a memorial in the church to honour Bishop William Morgan, who translated the Bible into Welsh and was the vicar from 1575 -79.
