Highlight • Rest Area

Great little pub for food and drink and public toilets opposite

The start of the second rivers worth of waterfalls, not as impressive as the other side, but still worth a walk to see and this side is quieter from visitors if you want some peace and tranquility.

Sgwd y Bedol Waterfall

Highlight • Natural Monument

These waterfalls are stunning in rain or shine, be careful across the rocks as they can be slippery when wet and the drops are step and dangerous.

Sgwd Gwladus Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

This is just a beautiful walking area. If you do the 'full' 20km waterfall walk you can take in most of the waterfalls in this area that are on the rivers Mellte, Hepste and Nedd Fechan. You can start at a variety of points around the route that has car parking namely Ystradfellte, Porth Yr Ogof or Pontneddfechan. Otherwise just do the best sections of the walk. You can cross the river at this point if the water is low enough and you are either dressed well or prepared to get wet, it was too deep for us, so we walked around, the view of this waterfall is best enjoyed on the far bank, but is a detour from the main walk.

Ddwli Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

The path is easy and well maintained. Went there on a Friday and it was fairly busy but a big space
