S Karzl, the little cult figure from the Erzgebirge on the Waldgeisterweg. ;-)
But there are even more wooden figures left and right on the Forest Spirit Trail.

That was another highlight of the Erzgebirge.
Especially the great forest with the beautifully carved and designed wooden sculptures, the forest spirits 😅
I didn't expect so many.
Really good 👏👏👏

"The ghosts I called" or something like that! Today it was supposed to be a spontaneous tour of the Greifenstein area!
We started at the beautiful hiking car park in Ehrenfriedersdorf.
Following the entire forest ghost trail, we hiked along "Grandma's Stone Trail" to the Greifensteins and looked at almost all of the figures.
Unfortunately, some of the figures have …

Due to the many sculptures and painted stones, the circular route is entertaining and interesting. The high proportion of asphalt and coarse grit on the route are less nice. You also notice the high number of visitors, signs of the human population everywhere in the form of garbage.
In terms of catering, the Greifensteine were more of a disappointment, only …

It was a small round, but very varied, I can imagine it with children, they would be totally thrilled 😄.
The paths were fine, overall a nice round

Showing Translation

Entertaining tour, perfect for children. On the Greifenstein there is a great playground, an observation tower, a climbing forest and, in summer, a natural theater with a wonderful backdrop.

Showing Translation

Nice walk starting at the playground with toilets. It leads past carved tree stumps (Waldgeisterweg) and lovingly painted stones (Omi's Steinweg).
The path is also great for smaller children and prams. But you have to keep in mind that there are some inclines.

Showing Translation

Very nice, especially an experience for the kids👍🏻

Showing Translation

From the Greifenstein it went over the "Waldgeister-Weg" to "Omi's Steineweg". Along this route there are over 90 beautifully designed stones.
