Schopferwirt Inn (Walchseer Hof)

The "Schopfenwirt," now the four-star hotel "Walchseer Hof," is a mighty inn dominating the town center. Its central floor plan, gable roof, and rich façade painting are attributed to Josef Adam Mölk. The region's typical painting, which has existed for around 250 years, derives its enormous durability from the lime plaster, which is then painted with lime paint, forming a virtually indestructible bond with the plaster.
