Hello Komootler, Abufeira is one of the hotspots in the Algarve in Portugal.

If you're in the Algarve, a visit is a must.
But it's not a must. 🤔It was interesting but very crowded in the off-season. 🙄I wouldn't want to be here in the high season. The 10 km round trip was fine and easy to ride. The town was very busy and quite crowded, including many abandoned buildings. 🫣
