Highspeed Trail Bern

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

The trail lives up to its name. However, beginners should take it slow because some crossbars are installed to drain the water.

November 26, 2023,Zur Lueg und auf den gestern geputzten Trails zurück, 26.11.23
Today we were able to rock the trails that were cleaned yesterday (komoot.de/tour/1381555782?ref=itd) in unexpectedly nice weather. So I first went up to the Lueg and then drove back to Burgdorf from there via various trails. If there was still a bit of snow at Lueg, it was almost wiped away a little further down.

In addition to moving the leg muscles a little, today's ride was also about testing the range extender mount on the new e-bike.

In the case of my bike, the original mount from Bosch needs to be supplemented with a small adapter plate, which of course is not available to buy. So, following the motto that nothing is too difficult …

Also on today's tour there was more or less heavy wood breakage in various places (see pictures). I removed what I could remove myself.

'Climbed' the Lueg for the first time this year. It wasn't necessarily the altitude that was the biggest challenge, but rather the mud from the still damp soil. Not only does it reduce the grip on the uphill and in the corners, no, it increases the bike weight by easily 2 kg over the course of the ride 😅
