You have to go through the chimney if you want to reach the Lower and Upper Forchezkopf or the Grosser Wieshorn. The chimney is secured with a rope. Using a via ferrata set isn't absolutely necessary, but it's good for your mental health. The chimney is about 15 meters long, followed by a short section with a rope, maybe 5 meters. It's not really a problem; in my opinion, it doesn't qualify for category A.

After yesterday's ascent from Mooserboden, today we went from the Heinrich-Schwaiger-Haus to the Große Wiesbachhorn, a real classic and at 3,564 meters above sea level the third highest peak in the Tauern and one of the TOP 10 in Austria. Nevertheless, it was a crampon-free tour without crossing glaciers or snow.

High alpine tour, which in summer now runs almost exclusively over rock and typical "violas" (sections I, secured in the chimney). Kaindlgrat ("Biancograt of the Eastern Alps") is ice-free in summer!
