Really beautiful ride along the border with Slovenia, lovely gravel paths through the country alternating with villages, forest, marshland, along the river Murau.
There are still about 50,000 mines in Croatia, so I stayed on the paths everywhere. I saw some municipal workers cleaning the verges outside a village with a net, I think to prevent them from encountering mines. …
