"Frau Holle" is the name given to the imposing rock formation, in whose crevices, according to Germanic folk belief, the eyes of Frau Holle can be seen. Right at the beginning, the only major climb, 100 meters in elevation, is conquered, up to Taubenberg. Once at the top, there are expansive views of the high forest landscape before a path leads downhill through a jungle-like landscape into the Lauschbach valley. Following the stream, you reach the Keller Steg. A hut and information board about the local beavers invite you to rest. The route then continues into the Wadrilltal valley towards Reinsfeld. Following the idyllic Wadrill stream, the trail crosses the Wadrill over a wooden bridge at Bocksberg, and then returns to the starting point of the tour through the tranquil valley between Bocksberg and Taubenberg.
