A little foretaste of our upcoming vacation in the Lüneburg Heath! You don't expect anything here in Franconia ... a simple round trip from Ungelstetten, mainly through Steckleswald, now particularly beautiful as the heather is in bloom. The ponds in the forest towards the end of the tour, just before you come back to Ungelstetten, are also very idyllic.

It was very sandy today. It went on the Franconian dune path and here only a short section, but it was worth it. These dunes were created during the last ice age 🤷‍♂️. The dune trail is 84km long in total. A piece of the Röthenbach was also taken away. Nice hike at 29° and a lot 🌞 🌞 😎
