The Buchenberg is always beautiful. A short detour through the forest can also be skipped. The junction cannot be overlooked at the cross. The food at the Buchenberg Alm is always good.
Parking spaces can be a bit tight on weekends when the weather is nice.

We started at the valley station of the Buchenbergbahn cable car. We followed the Cultural Trail. The gravel path initially climbed quite steeply. From the forest, the trail zigzagged along the so-called Root Trail to the summit. Sturdy footwear and hiking poles are recommended.

Once at the top, we headed for the Three Lakes Viewpoint. Wonderful 😍
