The Volkshochschule (adult education center) is now housed in Ladenburg's Old Town Hall. It was first mentioned in 1496 and was completely destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. Around 1730, the reconstruction took place under master builder Johann Jakob Rischer.
In 1982, the municipal administration moved into the New Town Hall at Domhofplatz. In the corner niche is a copy of a late Gothic "Rathausmadonna" (Town Hall Madonna) – the original, approximately 500 years old, is located in the Lobdengau Museum.

In the morning via the apple blossom path to the Ursenbacherhöhe. Perhaps the fastest way to climb a few meters from Mannheim, and a beautiful one at that!
