Attention, various sections of the route are currently closed due to fallen trees and landslides. However, there was no sign of this in the direction we were walking. When we saw the sign we were already through🤷😉

Not a day to drive far the traffic reports aren't that good. And so we stay in Saarbrücken, climb up to Spicherer Berg in the snow. Strenuous in some sections as the snow is over 20cm deep. But it's also very nice to experience some winter ❄️🌤️

Today we chose the Spichererberg for the morning dog walk. Since it's not that hot anymore, we started at the Tabaksweiher and went uphill via the Oberst-Petersen-Weg. The city tour is closed further up due to landslide. But you can enter it again from the French border. In this section the slope looks very battered.
