This memorial commemorates the victims of World War II.
In front of the churchyard wall, under the trees, stands an upright boulder with an inscription and 13 names on a multi-tiered base.

Tramm Chapel

Highlight • Religious Site

The historic chapel, surrounded by a fieldstone wall, is a remarkable building and is centrally located in the town.
According to the Ratzeburg tithe register from 1230, the village of Tramm belonged ecclesiastically to Siebeneichen, but was subject to the manorial estate of the Ritzerau estate. When Ritzerau was sold to the city of Lübeck in the mid-15th century, the patronage of the chapel also passed to the city council.

There probably already existed a chapel at this time, because in the Middle Ages the chapel had three altars, from which the figures now in the chancel originate.

The current chapel building was built in the 17th century; the neo-Gothic bell tower was added in 1903. Several pieces from the previous building are still present inside: the limestone slab on the altar, the pulpit from 1634, and the apostle figures.
The latter belonged to one of the three medieval altars in the chapel, which were donated to the St. Anne's Museum in Lübeck when the chapel was rebuilt.

In 1931, the museum loaned six figures back to the parish.

During the renovation in 1967, the interior received its present appearance,
with the chancel in particular being fundamentally redesigned.

In 1981, the harmonium that had been in use until then was replaced by a four-stop organ from the workshop of the Swedish organ builder Thulesius.
