We had originally planned a longer hike. However, the weather was so bad that we only stopped at the Bismarck Tower (highly recommended!) and then walked back to Bad Lauterberg via the Hausberg mountain. The paths were slippery and covered in leaves. Those who only want to go up the Hausberg can also take the chairlift.
