Bleik is a fishing village a few kilometers south of Andenes, situated in a bay surrounded by mountains (up to 500 m). In the bay is an island that provides nesting sites for many seabirds, especially puffins. A few bird watchers were camping on the beach opposite.

Left the car in Bleik, from there to take the 4km road to the popular starting point Baugtua. This way we got the boring part behind us straight away.
The climb (approx. 440) elevation meters to Måtinden is easy; the panoramic view above is beautiful.
Descended to Bleik, past the nature reserve formed by moats.
