Today's Wednesday tour began in the rain at the Freudenthal Inn. The view of the three castles from the Kaffberg was not ideal. Then we went over the Rhönberg, past the Wechmar reservoir and along the Apfelstädt to Wandersleben and on to the car park. From midday onwards the sun came out at times.
