Today we visited the city of Trier in 32 degrees. We saw a lot, we liked it a lot, but it was absolutely too hot. We hope that the temperatures will be more bearable tomorrow on our hike😅😎

Since the predicted heavy rain didn't materialize today, we took another stroll through Trier's beautiful and historic city center late this morning.

Among other things, we visited the Electoral Palace and Trier Cathedral. The photos taken inside the cathedral are compiled in a separate tour.

We actually wanted to cycle to Trier. The decision to take the car based on the weather forecast turned out to be the right one. We had barely arrived in Trier when we were greeted by a thunderstorm and heavy rain. The tour through Trier is always fascinating because of the great buildings, churches, parks, Trier's history, etc. 😉🙂 The …

Trier is a city with sights.
First we went to the Imperial Baths. It was impressive what the Romans built.
The nice thing was that we were allowed to take the dog with us.
We continued through Trier to the Porta Nigra. Also very impressive.
We will come back and explore other sights.

Showing Translation

On our half day of rest we also took a walk in Trier.
