Neukirchen Inn

History: approx. 1870: Johann Baptist Klein built a village restaurant on the opposite side of the street. 1923: Georg Kohler takes over the inn. 1959: The hall is expanded and the entrance area redesigned. In the following 20 years the inn developed into one of the most popular dance halls in the region. 1996: On the initiative of the 1st Mayor Erich Birzer, the municipality of Neukirchen bought the building after a long period of vacancy and had it extensively renovated. 1997: The Engelhardt family takes over the "Neukirchner Hof". It will not only become a well-known hotel and restaurant, but also the social center of the community of Neukirchen. It is the meeting place and event location for the local clubs, such as the shooting club, the men's singing club, the theater group, the workers' club or the settler community.
