June 28, 2022,Seven Sisters Natural Trail – Crowlink Path Loop from East Dean
Great Hike, good fitness required for undulating terrain particularly over 'Severn Sisters' but effort well rewarded with some stunning and dramatic scenery. Take plenty of water and snacks/food. Only refreshment and toilet stop on route is at Cuckmere Haven unless you do a slight detour down to Birling Gap. Would highly recommend.
A beautiful walk from the South Downs/Seven Sisters centre at Exceat near Friston. The walk followed the meandering Cuckmere river down to Cuckmere Haven's shingle beach, up and down the naughty but gorgeous Seven Sisters before a half way cafe stop at Berlingo Gap. Then the 2nd half of the route went up Went Hill to Friston where we stopped …
