During the communist era, the market square in Rymanów served as a junction stop, where numerous blue PKS buses stopped. It was not a passenger friendly place as it is located on a hill that dominates the area and is very windy. Waiting for a call on a cold day could pay with your health.
Currently, local transport is dominated by buses and it is difficult to find your way in the multitude of names of carriers and routes.
The main burden of passenger transport has shifted from public transport to private cars. This is best seen during summer weekends, when flocks of cars pass through the Rymanów market. It is not easy to turn towards Rymanów Zdrój, and in the evening join DK28 Krosno - Sanok from that side. The queue of waiting vehicles reaches as far as the church.
When traveling by bike, it is worth stopping in the shade of park trees next to the fountain, and during the greatest heat, look for refreshment in the silence of the church.

Sanctuary of Our Lady of Jaśliska

Traces of motherly care can be seen here, as we walk the paths of history and the present. This is also evidenced by the chapels in honour of Mary scattered around the area of this beautiful retreat. The image of the Jaśliska sanctuary itself is signed and dated. From the signature placed at the bottom of the image, it would seem that it is a painting by Piotr Rafael Burnathowicz, a painter from Brzozów, created in 1634.
