The path leads through the forest over large, smooth rocks. These are partly covered with fiery (depending on the season) herbs and lichens. A hiking paradise! To protect the vegetation, wooden railings have been installed in some places.

Just around the corner from the Jigging Cove Trail is the Jack Pine Trail and the Squeaker Hole.

We went to the hole first. A great world of rocks awaits you😍.
To get to the actual trail, you have to climb down the big rocks🪨 a bit. But it's easily doable even for a fishhead from the far north 😉.

Showing Translation

A small trail through a real fairytale forest full of lichens and mosses with wonderful views of the rocky Atlantic coast.
