1766 Adrian van Steengracht acquires Moyland Castle from Frederick the Great. The patronage of the von Steengracht family - the obligation to bear the financial burdens of the parish - remains.
1958 Acquisition of the castle church in Moyland by the Evangelical Church (end of patronage; start of independence of the Protestant parish).
At the beginning of the 1960s: the strictly reformed church interior without baptismal font and figurative representations is restored to its original form. The congregation forms a semicircle around the sacrament table and the pulpit. The cross attached after World War II corresponds to Lutheran tradition.
1987 two tapestries are installed in the church as a foundation (design: Lotte Marx-Colsmann, Xanten; production: Werkstatt Joh. Peter Heek, Kranenburg.
In 2006/2007 extensive renovation work on the church tower and roof beams was necessary. The parish's financial resources have been used up.
2007 Initiative to found a support association in order to preserve the Evangelical Castle Church of Moyland, now a monument, and to gain funds for this purpose, e.g. B. through public relations and the implementation of events.
