We started downstream, as recommended. This way you walk towards the waterfall, which is barely visible from above and from the road running parallel to it. The waterfall and rocks are impressive. The two iron-rich springs in front of Wassenach with their rising mineral bubbles were also new to us. The way back over the heights of the Eifel offers …
