I was amazed to come across this abandoned white house. God knows how people have lived here. The tracks to this place are remote, only 4x4 vehicles can access this house. Signs could be seen saying "no camping".

Usway Burn Trail

Highlight (Segment) • River

A preposterously pretty, smooth trail running vaguely downstream from the ford at Fairhaugh (remote farmhouse, anyone) to Batailshiel Haugh. From here it becomes a wider track, but it's no less spectacular for all that.
