Sneck Yate Bank

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

An absolute wall. The climb gets gradually steeper and steeper. The 100m before the final right hand bend is the toughest 100m in the Moors. The climb starts as you pass Boltby heading east. Easy to pair this up with White Horse Bank a few miles away.

Hawnby to Moor Gate Scenic Road

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

A fabulous ride on the quiet road between Hawnby and Moor Gate, with ridiculously good views of both Hawnby Hill and Easterside Hill.

Barely any cars on a road such as this, so this is pure joy to ride, and if you would like to make a proper stop on your way around here, Moor Gate has a convenient car park area with a nice tree against which you could rest your weary back.

Burnthouse Bank Descent to Osmotherley

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

This is a one-mile descent towards the village of Osmotherley down from Osmotherley Moor. Or up towards it, of course, in which case you've got some work to do! The forested slopes of Big Wood to the south of here look particularly picturesque. It's a really fun and beautiful road to ride!
