There is no documentary information about the age of the former moated castle. The castle was first mentioned in 1445. Larger building measures must have been carried out in the second half of the 16th century. Especially in the years 1747/1753, the castle received a number of renovations, a new interior and two wing buildings. After the ditch gradually dried up in the middle of the 19th century, the park was brought up to the house; a terrace was built on the east side. The battlements placed on top of the building in 1909 bring a strange element to the building, which has gradually grown up to that point, and try to simulate a uniform style.
