There is also a P2 car park (estimated approximately 2 km further down) and a P3 car park (again estimated approximately 2 km further down).

With today's hike to the Lärchkogel, I've now reached my goal of 25,000 meters of elevation gain in mountaineering.

The tour was truly fantastic. It was chilly, but after the Zechnerbodenhütte, I was in the sun, and it was very pleasant.
