Great landscape. At the end of September the sun is very low, the wall stays in the shade for a long time.

Very nice tour with quite a lot of paved roads. The highlight is definitely the area away from the Potersalp.
It is very idyllic here and a stop at the Chammhaldenhütte is also recommended.

Fantastic views are guaranteed on this tour.

"It's beautiful to observe nature, but even more beautiful to experience it" is a quote from the locals, and so we headed to the starting point, the "Kronberg parking lot" near Jakobsbad.

The Kronberg is a 1662.8 m (5,500 ft) mountain south of Jakobsbad in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden in Switzerland and …

Another bike ride together on what was perhaps the last perfectly beautiful day of this autumn 🌞🤩 Quite warm, only very cool between Potersalp and Lehmen in the shade of the forest.
Inevitably (as there was often no other option) very often on tarmac and even main roads. Only on gravel alpine roads at …

At the last minute we drove through the blanket of fog 😎
Elvira's cousin, Esther, was the hut warden in the Chammhaldenhütte this weekend. On your recommendation we approved the very fine Schlorzifladen, just great.

Same again today 🤩
We met in Steinegg, where there is a great and free parking lot. We started in the best weather conditions... in mid-October and it was almost summer-like warm.
The whole tour was technically easy to drive. This has the advantage …

Andrea and I had a wonderful 🤩 autumn tour in almost summery 🌞 conditions.
As the title says, this tour takes you around the well-known panoramic mountain Kronberg. Where possible a little off the beaten track, where not possible also on main roads. There are two striking climbs: Gonten over the Lauftegg to Blattendürren, and Urnäsch up to Schwägalp.
On …
