This is a route that starts from Dolceacqua, a picturesque town in Val Nervia, famous for its Romanesque bridge and the Doria castle. From here you go up to the Addolorata Sanctuary. You can enjoy an interesting panorama of the Maritime Alps on the border with France. There are no water fountains along the way.
