From here you can enjoy a stunning view from the Alpspitz/Edelsberg to the Ammergebirge. In good weather you can even see the Zugspitz plateau. And you can also see the Hopfensee in the valley. Beautiful!

The Senkele ridge is a characteristic molasse area in the Ostallgäu pre-Alpine landscape. An ideal round for pleasure hikers, because there is a fantastic view of the Allgäu Alpine scenery with its castles, lakes, palaces and castle ruins without having to climb too many meters. It leads (from the Senkele nature discovery path car park near Vorderulzberg) through the Lobach Valley and further through wooded areas, past the Alpe Beichelstein (open all year round, closed on Wednesdays) onto the Höhenweg. Lime beech forests, poor grasslands and Nagelfluhfelsen form species-rich habitats; a real experience of nature.
